SILC Leadership Modules and challenges
Combining the best of our successful school workshops, school camps and summer camps in a successful conference format. Developed from the SILC curriculum, these modules and activities include leadership workshops and games such as the Pyramid Challenge, the Trading Challenge, the Interview Game, with each module integrated with the learning outcomes of our conferences.
Industry speakers and expert panel
Our conferences features expert speakers from various industries and disciplines, bringing students valuable real-world perspective and insight on aspects of leadership and personal responsibility in the modern world. Drawn from NGO's, start-ups and industry innovators, these carefully selected experts demonstrate the SILC principles in action.
Top universities and schools
We bring representatives from top universities, schools and educational institutes around the world, giving students and their parents the chance to find out more about the opportunities available to them both locally, and further afield as they consider their university options around the world. Representatives are typically available throughout the day to answer questions and provide material to students and parents.
Practical skills
These unique and fun-filled leadership conferences offer students the opportunity to learn and enhance valuable leadership skills, including goal setting, time management, evaluation, communication skills and presentation techniques and to collaborate more effectively in teams while working on exciting games with experienced trainers. Students learn while doing and make new friends along the way.
Personal Action Plan & Follow up
Every student receives a Personal Action Plan, one of our signature learning tools. This proven development tool tracks participant's personal achievements, including all competences and skills learned at the conference, and is a valuable device for planning future academic and personal progress. This includes the option to follow up on the learning outcomes one month post-conference with your trainer and your parents in an online meeting.
Student Ambassador
Our SILC Ambassador Robyn is a frequent face at our events. This exceptional young woman represents the principals of resilience, hard work, professionalism and striving for success that we at the SILC Academy promote. Robyn is one of the top British U15 downhill skiers and fastest female skier in the Middle East, as well as a grade A student who still finds the time to join us at locations around the world for events, camps and workshops.
Parents and students cafe
It’s not all for students! Our parents and students cafe is a space for parents to socialise, get refreshments and to join scheduled talks and meet with our partners at their booths. Parents have the opportunity to express interest in meeting with any of our partners during the sign-up process to find out more about the organisation and ask any questions.
Exclusive venues
All of our venues are selected by our experienced events team. Ensuring that each locations meets the criteria of sophisticated facilities, space for indoor and outdoor activities, suitable refreshments, and providing a comfortable and exclusive atmosphere for our students, we guarantee that every conference is unique and to the highest standard.
